“Great Location”
Reception were somewhat friendly. No understanding why Wi-Fi is not available within the room. You have to obtain a 15 minute ticket from reception. Pool and sauna facilities are great. Bar staff seemed to lack knowledge and stock on cocktails. Dinner staff seemed slow. Breakfast staff were great. Very attentive and quick. Overall... a nice hotel to stay at in Auckland due to its location.
“would stay again”
all in all nothing you could complain about all was what you expected for a 4 star hotel
“Good place, good staff, very good restaurant”
The place is good, despite the fact that I had not seen any sense the "underground tunnels to convention centre, etc.". The room is good, The free internet limitation to 100MB high speed, afterwards low speed is acceptable. The high quality japan restaurant has acceptable price range. The reception's recommendation regarding one day bus tours proved to be a very good choice.
“Great central location”
Quiet central location at a great price. Friendly staff, free umbrellas available from the concierge for the rainy December days!
“Found lost canvas”
Everyone there was very helpful; they even found a 3 metre long roll of canvas which had been delivered there for me and had got lost in the loading dock
“Good hotel”
The staff was very helphful. But the breakfast so so. The service is good. Thanks
“Indifference”
Rendevous hotel is optimally located within Auckland, in central CBD. However, food at the restaurants was average, our room had holes in the roof and the shower was falling apart, very few ammenities were provided and they charge us $45 to keep a rental car in their car park for 3 days. Whilst the staff were nice and helpful, I would not return to this hotel for relaxation, but only for the convenience of it's location.
“Auckland New Zealand is nice”
I have no complaints. The room was clean. The hotel is within quite easy walking distance to downtown Auckland. It is two blocks to Queen Street, what I would consider the central corridor of the business district in Auckland. The concierge loaned me a 220 V plug adapter for my computer until I purchased on locally. The surrounding neighborhood was quite safe. Auckland is quite safe. I walked all over the city and never felt uncomfortable. The police officers do not wear guns. Apparently, the police officers, constables, store their guns in the trunks of their automobiles for safe keeping. This hotel is easy to recommend.
“A most pleasant hotel to stay in.”
Rooms were spacious and well appointed - the greeting at reception; bar and restaurant was pleasant and efficient. Though a short walk from the waterfront restaurants this was a good location for a central botel.
“What a treat.”
The most comfortable bed I have ever slept in, had the best nights sleep in the two weeks I visited New Zealand and my daughters graduation venue there was very classy. We all enjoyed our visit and hope to do it again soon.
