Booked for three , wasn’t set up for 3 guests , advertising is misleading with what you get examples, mini bar ,outside area messy, pictures are false, dirty stained robes, broken toilet roll holder & brush, cleanliness sub standard , fire extinguishers haven’t been serviced for a year, overall not happy with stay.

When we arrived the towels in the bathroom half were hangin up and looked like they were already used I went to have a shower and both soap dispensers were empty the soap dispenser by the sink had a centimetre of soap 2 sugar sachets 1 tea bag sachet 1 coffee sachet and no milk of any kind whether powder or capsule. Really slack for what we paid If you look out the back window it looked like shanty town just total mess

Hi Tracey,We are really sorry for the inconvenience you faced. We have no intention to harass our guests and do silly things. The towels were absolutely fresh and the milk was always in the fridge. Our MAnager is 24 x 7 available on the site and if there was any issue during your stay we were never informed. I enquired and found you got irritated when the staff asked for your photo ID which is mandatory for us as per rules and regulations. We still look forward to seeing you again and making sure you have lovely memories with us. Thank You.

Not very clean. No sky. Not worth the money. Broken toilet handle. Taped up bits and pieces around the room. Not impressed with the standards of cleanliness.

Manager Gary went out of his way consistently to make sure our needs were met. He was friendly and courteous and we felt safe staying in the motel. The rooms are updated and spacious and had everything we needed. We are international visitors vacationing in New Zealand and were in Auckland twice between traveling between different parts of the country- we chose to return to this hotel the second time too.

This place is in desperate need of a renovation. It’s being held together by positive vibes & duct tape (literally). Also needs a thorough clean. We went out to get some drain cleaner as the smell was terrible and it didn’t do much unfortunately. The highlight would be the staff. They are extremely friendly, helpful and very busy. I’m sure they’d love an extra set of hands.

Most uncomfortable bed ever. It felt like lying on concrete. Stairs to ground level were outside and felt dangerous in the rain. But hosts were friendly and carried bags up and down stairs for me. Good big fridge.

Not what it looked like on the website photo wise, not clean ordered a room with 2 beds when we arrived they didn’t have rooms with 2 beds! We declined staying in the accommodation waiting on a refund as there was no staff on the premises to refund us then!

Amazing Service and Clean Room
We were so pleasantly surprised by Regal Residency. We thought based on the low price that we would get what we paid for but we couldn't have been more wrong! The service was by far the best service we've had at any hotel or motel (and we've stayed at some nice places in the past). The staff was so friendly and accommodating. They were present but not buzzing around. The room itself felt luxurious and clean! The floors were tile throughout which definitely helped with the cleanliness. We even saw the staff mopping one of the rooms during our stay. Our only complaints were that the sofa bed was uncomfortable (but what sofa bed isn't?) and the bathroom window and shower head could have used some maintenance.

Stayed here with a very able 9 month old. Very clean, very friendly and accommodating staff. The rooms are large and updated/ new. We had no trouble with road noise, this place is a short trip to the city and airport. Stayed here because of the on-site free parking for a camper van and everything else was a bonus. The bed is extremely comfortable and heaters are in both rooms if need be. Very spacious shower and nearly all cooking utensils provided if you want to cook. This is a lovely quiet, clean and comfortable place. Would stay here again.

Disgusting rooms for what we paid. I have stayed in cleaner rooms for half the price of this room. The room smelt like smoke, there was a ball of hair in the bathroom, the tables and benches were not cleaned. Finally there was snot on the wall in the bedroom.

We feel really sorry for the experience you had. although smoking is strictly prohibited in all of our rooms few of the guests don't bother and create a problem for the other guests. Our motel was a full house on the day you arrived so we could not offer you the other room. Regarding issues with the cleaning we really apologize and would definitely take care in the future. One again we feel sorry for a poor experience.

Nice & Clean Downfall: got to walk around to get to the table & chairs at the back. Should make a couple stairs from each room for familys with kids.

Fairly new building
This seemed new so was in good condition. It was clean and fresh. The front room was a spacious living area and kitchen and the bedroom and bath in the rear. The location is on a very busy road but we couldn't really hear it when in the back.

We discovered food in the fridge and hubby went to enquire at reception if that was breakfast for us for the next morning, they advised no and that they'll come and clear it at some point. I was still alone in the unit and then someone just walked in - no knock or announcement - just walked in - good thing I was not getting changed! No apology for the rude intrusion either. We asked for more milk and just got 2x15ml ones - yippee - that is only 2 teas worth - 1 for each of us. The bathroom floor was not clean and the bathrobes were scrunched up in the warrobe - so didn't want to wear them as they looked used in the messy bundle they were sitting in. There was also no cooling and it was not even summer yet - so strongly recommend they get some fans. The units look brand new, but there is no USB outlets to charge your devices with so you need to remember to bring your wall plug for that. Not a bad place, but it was way overcharged!

Room is good sized and is clean. Attention to details is lacking and causes annoyance. For example, no tissue in the tissue box. I used toilet paper instead but it run out by the morning. Then couldn't any replacement toilet paper roll in the cabinet.

The cleanliness,presentation and communications were excellent. The Manager was in control of it all. Though being new the heaters, toaster, and doors latches were a problem. The response from the Management team was fast and immediate.
