“A good experience !!!!”
We stayed at the Electra for 2 nights. The location is great, accessible by metro from the airport to Syntagma square and the hotel is right across the station on Ermou road, a walking distance of 2 -3 minutes. We had booked the hotel online and did not have any issues with the check in. Even though located in the heart of the city, it is in the pedestrian part of Ermou and hence very quiet. The room is small but very neat and tidy. The Breakfast buffet was decent, and tasty. The contact with hotel staff was minimal, during check in / out and during the breakfast. They were pleasant and efficient. Over all, it is a nice place to stay and will go back again.

“Hotel Electra”
Perfect central location at Sentagam Square, easy access from airport bus. City Tour very near; LocAted on pedestrian shopping street. Staff extremely courteous, helpful, professional. Breakfast excellent. Rooms comfortable, clean and spacious.
“Excellent Location!”
It's nothing fancy, but it is clean and quiet. On the main shopping near Syntagma Square, it is close to all the major sights. Despite the intense heat, we were able to walk everywhere easily. In case you prefer public transport, trams, buses and the metro are very close by and easy to use. The staff were pleasant and professional. The room was clean and well taken care of. The bathroom in our room was tiny but you kind of expect that in Europe. The breakfast was very good and a great way to start the day. Would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone who wants a good base to see the city.
“A wonderful place to stay!”
Fantastic location, close to shopping and restaurants, 20 minutes walking distance to the Acropolis. The staff was very courteous and helpful. The double room was clean and comfortable, with a nice view from the balcony. It was easy and fairly inexpensive to connect to the wireless high speed internet from the room and/or from the cafe in the lobby. The included breakfast buffet was excellent, with more food choices than I had expected, and fresh squeezed OJ. The only drawback was that the room was a little noisy, with noise from the street and adjoining rooms. Overall, the Electra met or exceded my expectations.
“Where the action is”
Electra Hotel was perfect! The hotel's service and attentiveness was outstanding, and the location is amazing. Electra Hotel is located on Ermou Street in the heart of the city, just off City Centre. Bustling with shops and shoppers as well as cozy cafes and a variety of restaurants, Electra Hotel is within walking distance to many sites, including the Acropolis, Plaka, Monastiraki Square, Acient Agora, Parliment and the National Garden, to name only a few, and only steps away from mass transit systems as well. We had a lovely stay, truly enjoyed the Greek culture and people of Athens, and look forward to getting back one day.
“Would definitely recommend...”
I could not have picked a better location even if I had taken a tour of the area first... We took the Metro from the airport to Syntagma Square, and from there, we just had to cross the street to see the hotel. The staff was super helpful and friendly. They took several phone messages for me from my Greek family, helped us figure out the ultra-confusing KTEL(regional bus) schedules, and had a taxi ready for us whenever we requested. The breakfast buffet was delicious and the neighborhood was great for shopping and a short walk to great restaurants and the Acropolis. The only issue I had was that we requested a double room, and we saw 2 twin beds pushed together. I know this is a common practice in Athens, but was a little uncomfortable when I kept falling through the crack! I would definitely recommend, I would definitely stay there again...
“Hotel Electra”
This hotel was in a great location in Athens, right in Syntagma Square. It's so easy to take the train from the airport and way cheaper than taking a taxi. We were able to walk to all the shops, cafes, and tourist attractions. The room was pretty basic, but all we needed it for was sleeping. The breakfast in the morning was amazing complete with fresh squeezed orange juice. I would definitely recommend this hotel.
“Great, Great, Great---Super Clean, Nice Staff”
I stayed in 2 hotels in Athens, Hotel Titania and Hotel Electra. They both were good. This hotel was well located just south of Syntagma Square. Get off at the Syntagma station and walk to this hotel. This hotel is rated a 3 star but should be a 4 star. Great breakfast. Super clean rooms and spacious. However no irons allowed as with any hotel in Europe. Location was close to Plaka and Acropolis you can walk to them. Busy shopping area just outside the hotel, so it's very safe as lots of people there. Highly Recommend it. Tip for the Acropolis, grab water before you go there as they charge 3 euro for water, everywhere else is 50 cents. Trust me you'll need it.
