"Didn't know much about Pisciotta and arriving at La Casa sul Blu was an amazing pleasant surprise. It's an old mill, beautifully restored, charming with lots of history. The rooms have a beautiful view over the mountain, especially for the sunset. The staff were incredibly nice and helpful, and even made sure I got a vegan breakfast. "

"Nice looking little hotel, not on the cleanest street, but close to the beach. I was shown to my room, which was quite small so Iasked for a larger one. They were very obliging, and gave me a different room, which was a bit bigger, even though I lost the pool view....I didn't mind. There was nowhere to put my luggage, other than on the floor. Very limited hanging space, the towels were quite thin and rough and no robes provided. I would have expected some little luxuries given the description...

"We used the Hotel Venere as a bed and breakfast base to cycle around the Parco Nazionale del Cilento e Vallo di Diano. Being out of the main holiday season the area was quite with only one restaurant open in Ascea - but this had the advantage that the roads were quite. The hotel is only a short distance from the railway station meaning that it was easy to transport bikes."

We stayed here after visiting Paestum (short drive)and after a warm wellcome we got a very unique pizza to taste. "We had a wonderful stay here! The boutique hotel had spacious rooms and was situated on lovely grounds. A quick walk took us to the Paestum Archeological Site, and when we returned we enjoyed some gelato, sorbets and wine served in their garden. Dining at the restaurant attached to the hotel (Casa Coloni) was fantastic. We got their fish menu, and it was one of the best meals we’ve had to date on our excursions across Italy. We had a lovely night’s sleep followed by a great breakfast the next morning. If you’re reading this looking for inspiration to click the “book” button, do it. Book here. Lovely room, delicious meal, great amenities, not even a 10 minute walk from a UNESCO World Heritage site. What else could you ask for?"
