"We liked our stay but,I would agree the place does need a little refresher and doors sealed better to avoid insects coming in.We stayed at another place near by and it was a night and day difference from beginning to end.The staff are nice and always smiling the pool view of the cliffs is amazing.Breakfast was good sometimes we would see the large lizard swimming in the lake.Your nestled just 3min from the main strip and 10min to the beach.Location,staff,spacious room,and nice view from the pool were the highlights but,we both preferred our other stay and it was about $25 less a night."

"If you are traveling to Krabi with kids, this is absolutely the place to stay. Located right in the heart of Ao Nang, the resort features exceptionally comfortable rooms and a wonderful staff who truly go above and beyond. We loved starting our mornings with a massive breakfast selection paired with perfect coffee and fresh tropical fruit, and having motorbikes available for hire on-site made exploring incredibly easy. While the pool is a great place to unwind, the water could use a change with less bleach so it doesn't sting the eyes and is safer and gentler for young kids. Overall, it's a great, highly recommended place to stay!"

"We had a very good stay here and hotel was clean and well located. Breakfast was very good. We didn’t like Aonang and weee disappointed with the town , our issue not the hotels. Staff were helpful , but honestly weren’t as friendly as other places we had stayed. However recommended for a stay in Aonang. "

"I enjoyed my three night stay at J Hotel, and am glad to recommend it to others. The building and the rooms are quite dated and are showing signs of age. However, the staff are lovely and the facility is kept very clean. Also, the location is really fantastic. e.g. a three minute walk to the long tail boats to Railay. And of course there are dozens of perfectly nice places nearby for a meal. Or a drink….or two, or more. J Hotel is my new fav place to stay in Ao Nang. "
