As a fan of Freddie, a stay at The Freddie Mercury when in Montreux is a must. It's campy, and fun and you can't not smile in the public areas. As a rather fussy hotel guest, I had no real issues. There isn't air conditioning, but there is some air circulation. The rooms are basic, but how much time do you plan on spending in there? The bed is super comfortable, the breakfast is reasonable for the price (on demand omelettes and lots of variety). It was clean enough, though there is some wear starting to show. The staff was very helpful. Most of all, the location is amazing and on the train station platform (you can hear the trains from your room if you're on that side, but it's a soft/gentle woosh every now and then). I'm so glad I stayed there. Thank you!

Great location. Room upgrade was appreciated. Front desk very helpful. Having the adapter to borrow was very helpful. The style of the room was not to my taste but was clean and comfortable.

It is great hotel to stay!

A nice and safe bed and breakfast type hotel in the middle of the Paquis district in Geneva with easy access to public transportation, particularly the train/tram stations within a short walk. Breakfast is good. The bathroom though is small and the shower stall barely fits a person. Make sure you bring travel adapters if you are coming in from the US for EU/Swiss receptacles.

Getting to/from the hotel is very simple with the shuttle. It leaves every 20 minutes. They also give you a complimentary transportation ticket to use the train or buses to get to town. The gym is massive and well-equipped. The staff are friendly and efficient. I had room service and it was delivered with care. Will return!
