Ideal for family accommodation, romantic getaways or simply just an escape from the city. 33 Illawong Road is a stunning two-bedroom apartment just 45 minutes travel from Cooma. Nestled in the beautiful village of Anglers Reach overlooking Lake Eucumbene featuring expansive mountain views.

The kitchen features a modern design, equipped for home cooking with a gas cooktop, electric oven, microwave and dishwasher. We offer a washing machine and drier and the apartment features a LCD TV and DVD player. It is cool in summer and warm in winter with a wood heater. Bedrooms have electric blankets, doonas and an electric background heater maintaining an optimal temperature.

There is an outside Patio with benches and a fire pit. An evening BBQ is magical with an easy sighting of fish activity on the Lake. Kangaroos are often seen close by, heading to the Lake for an evening drink.

This is a comfortable apartment to spend time in or to return to after a day’s walking, fishing or skiing.

An excellent property to use as a base for long days fishing Lake Eucumbene
I met the property's cleaners while visiting the area in advance of our stay and they were great in telling me what to expect as I had never stayed at that property before. When we arrived, we thought the place was terrific for our fishing plans. Clean, comfortable and well appointed with everything required for a short or extended visit. Given our fishing time on the lake, we barely used any of the conveniences provided, but noted that returning with my daughters or older grandchild would be easy to do. While there, we also met the lovely owners who were very helpful and friendly. This property is highly recommended regardless of your reason for being in the area. It is smallish, but is very cosy and very comfortable. Boat parking is ample but does require some juggling to keep the driveway to the main residence clear if the owners are upstairs. We would be very happy to visit the property again and plan on doing so in the next few months. Thank you.

Beautiful location with lake views. Loved the fire place, was very cosy and warm. Enjoyed walks to the lake, seeing lots of wild life and a trip to the mountains. We had a wonderful time and will definitely be back with the family.

We loved our stay in Anglers Reach! Great base for trips to snow and a 15 minute drive from Adaminaby for groceries, great pub and bakery. Wood fire made the place super toasty despite the cold temps, nicely renovated kitchen. Bathroom could use some maintenance- shower leaking at base and old radiator heater might need an update. Upon booking we were not aware that we would need to pay extra for linen - it was all organised without an issue, but perhaps this could be made clearer. Overall we loved our stay and would be back again!
