“Stylish luxury in an historic setting”
From the moment we arrived the staff was attentive and courteous. The hotel is beautiful, with lovely lounge areas and chic guest rooms. I would highly recommend the Dylan for anyone looking for a luxurious experience in an elegant setting. While not included with the room rate, the breakfast buffet was delicious and very Dutch. The bar menu also included lovely Dutch tidbits.
“Cool + great location”
Cool Hotel, great decor, the location is perfect, quiet neighbourhood but 5 minutes away of all the buzz. Apparently the restaurant is very good.We didn't book before our arrival so we couldn't get a table...we were a bit disappointed. It would be great if the hotel manage to have the ability to find a slot in the restaurant for hotel's guest. Nevertheless the concierge manage to find us a table in a good restaurant where we had an amazing romantic meal. The staff was very helpful and kind. I will definitely come back.
“2 days of bliss”
great staff... super helpful regardless of what you need.
“very impressed”
incredible hotel to stay at
“Dylan Hotel”
I just loved the staff at this hotel, i had a canal view suite and my view was nice however late at night the partiers can get a little loud. Even though the room was nice it was the staff the made this hotel worth it.
“Look no further”
One of those few hotels that has a five star rating - and lives up to it. Cannot find a single fault.
“A must stay!!!”
This hotel was fantastic! I saw it in my book of small luxury hotels of the world, which I received from my hotel in the Maldives on my honeymoon. I knew if it was in this book it had to be amazing! A good freind of mine also stayed there two years ago and said it was a must. The staff were extremely warm and welcoming when we arrived, and remained as helpful and kind throughout our entire stay. The hotel is breathtaking, down to the lovely courtyard entrance, and garden in the back. We were there for our 1st anniversary, and thought the hotel to be extremely romantic. The only slight disappointment was the rooms were smaller than I expected, and when we tried to open one of the curtains, the rod and curtain came tumbling down! With a hotel this expensive you dont expect any flaws! However, the staff made sure it was corrected and offered to give us a new room. In the end, it was fixed and we remained in our room. I would surley stay there agian!
“Loved It”
The Dylan is a very nice, comfortable, charming small hotel. It is centrally located and we could walk to everything. The staff was very helpful. The rooms are nicely decorated and comfortable; the hotel is quiet. There is a bar and a nice fireplace and a lovely oriental sitting room. There is a small exercise room with up to date equipment. We didn't eat any meals there, so we cannot comment on the food. We would definitely recommend this place.
“We have to go back”
The food at the restaurant of the hotel is a 10!Romantic atmosphere inside; romantic little garden outside! +++
“Best Hotel in Amsterdam!”
This was our first trip to the Dylan hotel, but it won't be our last. The service was impeccable and the common areas were georgeous. The rooms in the older area are small but beautifully appointed. The rooms in the renovated area are very modern and large. We stayed in both types of rooms and were very happy with both. Don't miss this hotel if you are going to Amsterdam and don't miss Amsterdam if you are going to Europe ~ it was our favorite city, by far.
