Such a nice place to stay for a week in the Netherlands. It is quite easy to get into town. Anja Metro ferry across the river.

This was an absolute gem to find in Amsterdam. All of the staff were very friendly and helpful, the accomodations were extremely clean, and the area around was safe and nice. We had lunch and breakfast as well, and each were fantastic, gourmet-level food. Just know the rooms are TINY! Two people maximum, with their luggage. The bed was very comfortable, which I really appreciated coming from London, where the hotel bed was hard as a rock.

From the decor to the staff, our stay at BUNK Amsterdam was amazing. The restaurant on the premise had different options for breakfast, lunch and dinner as well as drink options. There was a ferry a 5min walk from the hostel that takes you to the center of Amsterdam also a short walk from the train station. I would recommend you stay here if you’re on a budget and want numerous options.

Very comfortable and lots of activity. Options to rent bikes, eat a meal in the hotel, and enjoy the quieter scenery. I also like the privacy of the bunks, but climbing to reach the top bunks is a little hard.

I found this property very unsafe I have been in contact with the property and they have asked me what I found unsafe and I told them but I haven’t heard back . I ended up having to pay for another hotel as this just didn’t feel safe.

BUNK was fun. Greeted by friendly concierge who helped me with the self check in (not sure why they call it a self check in when there is someone there to guide you through it). I was staying in one of their PODS neat experience! It was surprisingly quiet seeing as there were probably 40 other people staying all in the same close area. There was always someone cleaning, the place is well maintained. I ate at the restaurant 3 times and was never disappointed. Convenient location about a 10 minute walk to the ferry that brings you to Centraal station to get to anywhere you wanna go, but there is not much around the hotel proper.

We absolutely loved staying here and would recommend to anyone! An amazing find, beautiful building with loads of interesting features around the hotel like a study library and restaurant on the ground floor which has great food too! The room and bathroom was super clean and the smart tv was a great edition to the room. Quiet at night and staff were very helpful and friendly.

We were very warmly greeted when we arrived at the hotel. We were earlier than the check in time, so we decided to have lunch in the restaurant. The food and service were perfect. The room was perfect and smartly designed. Check out was also very pleasant. Nice location. Lockers were much more affordable to store luggage than at Amsterdam Central.

This propriety is minutes from Amsterdam's Central train station. Just walk to the free ferry (Amsterdam IJplein) and walk about 5 to 10 minutes with google maps you'll be right there. All major museums are within biking distance. If you rent one of their bikes. The climbing gym called Monk is also pretty close. This isnt a big tourist zone, so this area is nice and calm.

Tiny tiny rooms. Walls paper thin - bring ear plugs. 10 minute walk to trains. Short walk to cafes in neighbourhood. Neat location and food is innovative and good.

Nice Aesthetic with one major issue.
Took the free ferry feom Central Station very quick. Less than 5 minutes to the North side. Walk feom pier is more like 15-18 minutes. The aesthetic of the Bunk is beautiful. From the moment you enter. Check in was easy and quick. Cube was spacious, and quiet with hangers, free towels and mood lighting. Bathrooms and showers were cleaned. My main and most important issue with my stay was how the inside of the cubes in the pod room are not wiped down or sterilized between guests stay. I noticed the housekeeping gentleman changing sheets, pillow cases and comforter covers, but absolutely no cleaning of the interior at all. You can smell it. Musky lived in smell. Pods should smell clean and fresh. For what you pay nightly to stay, completely unacceptable and I don't think I would ever stay here again. Beautiful restaurant. I ordered the eggs Benedict and it was not good. Ridiculous amount of "sweet" hollandaise sauce. More than actual egg. Ham wasn't grilled and bread/brioche wasn't grilled or toasted. I cant critique the rest of the menu, but the one dish I did have was the worst eggs benedict I've ever had.

Lovely hotel and great location
Loved the hotel and location in the north side of Amsterdam. Cafe and food was lovely also.. rooms clean and funky although quite hot and the shower’s flood easily which is difficult in such a small room. Rooms overpriced IMO in that respect

Place was pretty new so everything in good condition. Bedclothes were very clean and fresh. It's a strange experience because there's only a curtain between you and the outside world, but much more privacy than you'd get in a typical shared hostel dorm. Despite being below someone else, couldn't really hear anything from my neighbours, sound insulation was excellent and I got a good sleep. Pod is big enough to sit up in, there's a funky colour wheel for the LED lighting and built in USB alongside the wall socket. There's a locker for each pod that works off keycard, so no need to bring a padlock. The rest of the facilities were good condition, with library/working room, bar/kitchen and shared showers each with an integrated seat/shelf for getting changed for privacy. People were an interesting mix but kept to themselves.

If you are over 20 years old DO NOT STAY IN THIS CAGE!!! This place is for teenagers for sleeping only. a toilet is 1 meter away from the bed. Thats all I have to say.

Cool concept, comfortable and convenient
A very cool concept - old church converted to a hotel/hostel with clean and modern facilities. Rooms were surprisingly quiet. Restaurant/bar served decent food and drinks, staff were friendly and professional. Staying in mid June during some very sunny days the air conditioning was struggling to keep up so the room was quite warm. Water pressure in shower was abysmal and took a very long time to warm up - my room was right near the apex of the building at the back, so presumably very far away from the hot water supply. A nice short walk to the ferry across to Amsterdam Central station, or the metro.
