The staff was generally amazing. Robert was incredibly helpful and kind in answering all of our questions. There was another gentleman at night who's name has slipped my mind, but he was also very kind and eager to help! My only minor complaint is not having dish soap or cleaner in the room! You can buy it for very cheap downstairs, we just never got around to it.

Found a roach in the room and lots of hairs in the covers and sheets, they upgraded us but one man proceeded to lie about giving an extra bed when it is stated on their website they give it for a fee of 30 euros a day. The next day a lovely lady who checked us in the first day provided us with the extra bed, she was very helpful.

I liked everything in this property, but my only challenge was the transportation, it is far from any bus station or public transportations more like 20 min walk! so I had to take a lot of expensive Taxis to reach my destinations.

Our stay was great overall but we didn’t really get any help from house keeping after the first 3days. We were there over a week and a half and they did not check on us for towels or toilet paper.

The Amrath Apart Hotel would have been a great place to stay if the room was cleaned. Our room had brown splatter on the wall, dust bunnies and crumbs all over the floor. There were dishes in the kitchenette area that we were free to use, but had to provide our own dish soap. The shower flooded beyond the drain, so showers had to be very quick to avoid flooding the bathroom. There seemed to be quite a communication barrier and we felt that we didn’t have an understanding of what we were supposed to do. There is no on-site restaurant and the hotel is out of the centre, close to the hotel, which makes getting anywhere without a car a challenge. The staff was polite and helpful to hail taxis for us, but the fare for a 1 way trip down to the centre of Amsterdam was € 40.00 Our room had 2 twin beds pushed together. As we were on our honeymoon, this made intimate activities super challenging. We both spent time falling into the space between the bed while we were trying to be close. We are grateful that we had accommodations, but felt quite isolated while staying there

The hotel has certainly seen changes in the past 5 years. We were here in 2018 and had a wonderful time. This year, the amenities have certainly disappeared. No face cloths, kleenex in the rooms. Maid service, when done was good but, we only had them in twice in the two weeks we were there. The 24 hour grocery had certainly gone downhill. We used to get fresh fruit, baked goods, dairy, etc in the past. No more now. That was disappointing. The staff, however, were excellent! No complaints about the service.

Hotel is situated in very nice area. Room was specious, clean and kitchen was equipped with kettle, little fridge and microwave. Bathroom was clean and nice too. There were just a few weak points. Firstly service- receptionists looked annoyed every single time we asked anything. A big parking space infront of hotel is apparently for a short stay only (approx. 15), even though it was empty we were said to pay 5 EUR per night for the parking spot behind the hotel. When we asked receptionist if we can get our bins emptied, answer was firstly positive, but it never happened. When we asked second time, her colleague just gave us two bin bags and informed us that we have to do it ourselves. Overall, hotel property and rooms are very nice, but we definitely didn't feel welcomed.

It is right that the parking lot in front of the hotel is not for free parking. It is only meant for personnel, collaborating companies and customers who visit us for our mail pick-up point. The real parking lot meant for guests is at the backside indeed. Since our price-quality ratio is our strong point and such a large parking lot is not cheap, compared to all the paid parking lots in the city we are actually super cheap though. We do have to charge a small fee for guests who make use of our property for a longer time because of this. Comfy beds though I wish it hadn’t been twin beds put together to make a full size because they kept slipping apart when we would sleep. The shower is very nice and it was great having a kitchen/fridge in the room with everything we’d need. The blinds need a bit of fixing as they were falling a bit on corners and they let in a lot of light. All in all it was a very nice place to stay and we slept very well.

The property is great value for money. You can save lots of money by preparing basic food thanks to the kitchen, which comes equipped with a sink, microwave, small refridgerator, and kettle. Public transit is an issue, and cycling to the city can take about 45-60 minutes. The apartment was also not cleaned on the sixth day. There's lots of space, however, and the staff are friendly and helpful.

the staff were all very helpful. The location is a bit out of the way, but worked well for us as it was a short driveto the train statuon or highway. There is a nice pub within walking distance as well as other restaurants. Having a kettle made coffee in the morning a breeze.

Property, for the most part, looks like photos. I did not get my original room booked as there was an emergency maintenance being performed. My party had to be split up for one night and I had to go to another hotel 20 minutes away while my remaining party stayed in a smaller room at Amrath. When I got to my newly assigned room they had no idea what was happening and did not have a room for me. Another story in itself, I will continue with Amrath. The second night we were put in a larger room than what I reserved. The location is not near anything of real walking based tourism, however, I enjoyed that feature. There were a few grocery choices within driving distance. Hotel advertises "The Food Market supplies a diverse range of products, including breakfast, main and side dishes and several home care products." That's definitely a stretch. This "amenity" is a main reason I booked the hotel. There may have been 6 frozen pizzas, a handful of potato chip/snack selections, ramen noodle soup, and some soda/juice/wine...nothing more. That was very disappointing. Which brings me to the "kitchenette" in the rooms. Not stocked for getting anything accomplished. 2 each of plates, bowls, drinking glasses and silverware. A microwave and fridge and sink. A tea kettle. Nothing else. Also misleading. Laundry on two floors, both had only one machine working. Guests lined up and jockeying to get to use it.
