“Clean Comfortable Value”
This hotel is new so the rooms, furniture, bedding is new! Beds were comfortable and rooms were very clean. Most guests seemed to be on business trips.
“Excellent Hotel for great price!”
Ibis is great. 4 star hotel at 3 star price. Great location as its in a busy downtown area. There are many restaurants walking distance and Amman mall is right in front of the hotel. The rooms are very clean and staff is very friendly. No need to pay for 4 or 5 star hotels. Ibis is solid for its price. There are computers with internet in the main lobby. THe hotel is pretty new and its very modern. It is definetly worth staying in if you are travelling to Amman.
“IBIS was great!”
I normally stay at the Sheraton, but decided to give a less expensive hotel a chance, and I glad that I had. The only complaint I have is the hotels in general are too far from the airport.
“Nice clean modern hotel.”
Very nice, new, hotel. Clean rooms, comfortable bed, good water pressure. There aren't real toiletries though, there is a pump on the wall for "lotion soap" and in the shower for "shampoo/conditioner/body soap" (all in one). There is free wifi but it's reaaaaaally slow (like slower than dial-up modem except between 1am and 4am) and when i told the front desk about it they said they would reset it (which they may or may not have done, bc nothing changed). The front desk staff was not particularly helpful in advising me on touristy things to do in Amman and didn't seem to know where i could buy souvenirs near the hotel.
“Excellent budget choice.”
This hotel is conveniently located for Amman and is very reasonably priced.
“A uniquely comfortable, affordable stay Amman!”
I enjoyed my stay in Ibis. The one thing I wasn't impressed with was the cleanliness, as there was some hair in the bathroom and that makes me crazy! Otherwise the room itself was very clean and everything I needed was present. Rooms are very small but comfortable and have great tv selections. Wi-fi is free. Service at the front desk was friendly and professional. The highlight for me was breakfast, which was amazing. yum! The hotel is in a good location for business travelers, less so for tourists (though Amman is very accessible by taxi). I would return to this hotel. I got a great rate online, so I found it to be a really good value.
“OK as good value for money.”
Overall our experience was pretty good. Good value for money too.
“Good Stay”
it was a nice room opening on the main road .. The hotel in general was nice well equipped and pleasant .. The two bed room had a nice size and was comfortable. The hotel is just across one of the city's main super markets, which opens until late, so one can easily buy anything without having to worry about room service..
“Great hotel for the price”
Hotel IBIS have a very good formula, cheap rooms that are very standardised. This particular IBIS looks to be very modern and new, the buffet dinner was very good and it has a nice terrace bar as well. Also, very conveniently located near to the main road to get to the airport ifyou are driving. Staff were all very helpful indeed and it has free underground valet parcking.
“Mixed blessings”
When I first checked in, the desk clerk took a credit card impression for 'extras' as per normal. When I got to the room, my key did not work so I went back to the desk and the clerk put it back in the machine, but with no apology. I had a meal and drink in the outdoor bar, but when I went to pay, they told me I had no credit facilities and had to pay cash. I paid and went back to reception. The same clerk was there and after looking at his computer, said 'It's O.K. now", but again, no apology. My room key failed again the next day - same clerk - same reaction - no apology! I went to the bar for a beer as there was a board up saying 'Two drinks for one' but had to wait ten minutes for a barman. When I ordered a Corona I was told it was 7 Dinars. I said, what about the "two for one offer?" "Ah yes, sorry" said the barman and gave me a second beer. At least I got an apology. However, it was later apparent that the same barman was getting a dressing down, in front of the few patrons in the bar, by a manager. They really need to get their act together if they want clients to return to this hotel. They also do not offer continental breakfast. You have to pay 10 Dinars no matter how little you eat and the buffet selection was not brilliant. The only real plus is that there is a shopping mall with a supermarket and food court right oppsite!
