“Comfortable and Affordable”

Breakfast great, hot eggs, biscuits and gravy, etc. Shuttle to airport timely and convenient.

“Nice place to stay”

This hotel is convenient off the interstate. The accomodations were nice, there were cookies and coffee in the lobby in the afternoon and the breakfast was great.

“Really nice place”

The rooms were clean and modern. Price was good. They provided a variety of different breakfast foods. I was impressed--it's a great value for the money.

“Nice place to stay”

This hotel was really nice. They were putting new mattresses and boxsprings in rooms. I don't know if we got one or not, but the bed was very comfortable. There was construction going on and it was hard to figure out how to get in the back where our room was. Also the pool was dirty and smelled bad. But all in all, we would stay here again.

“East Amarillo”

This is an older hotel, so some leeway must be granted for the "condition" of the hotel. The room appointment was very nice although the beds were very hard. For senior citizens with arthritis, this can be an issue. However, at the rates given, one should not expect the luxuries of foam mattress tops. All things considered, we will plan on staying here next year.

“Great Deal”

I really was especting a lot less, given the price. This was a very nice hotel, and close to everything you'd need. Very pleased!

“Great location!”

This hotel was a great location for being very close to downtown for sight-seeing; for being close to many restaurants and shops; and centrally located between the Alibate Flint Quarries and PaloDuroCanyon NP! The staff was nice. The hotel was clean. It was a good 2 and 1/2 star hotel that we would definitely return to if we return to Amarillo. Pet-friendly.

“Up every hour to adjust the temp!”

I really was generally happy with this hotel, but we had a room that required us to literally get up and adjust the temp at least hourly, and more at the beginning of the check in period. It's a great layout, with elevator, which is a definite help. The doorway to the outside (across from the hotel desk and down the hall) kept flying open and the cold 1 degree wind was blowing down the hall all night long. This is probably a better room to choose in the summer! The breakfast bar was not worth going, and luckily there is an IHOP about 100 yrds away. I was floored when I saw the tip jar sitting out at the breakfast area. I guess that they expected tips for setting out the food! By the way, they were just sitting in the adjoining room talking.

“Internet access”

Wireless internet access did not work in the room. It only worked in the lobby.

“Good value”

Good value. Clean hotel. Interior isn't as updated as you might have in a HI Express or base Marriott hotel but the price was cheaper than those hotels. You can tell where they had updated with tile in lobby and in room bathrooms. Breakfast was pretty good for this level of hotel. Did have biscuits/gravy as well as waffles made in shape of Texas which my son loved. Hotel is right off interstate 40, right beside IHOP (get 20% off with room card) and 0.5 mile from Cracker Barrel (so good location). Received good service when I was there. Maintenance worker help carry my bags to the room as the luggage cart was being used by someone else.
