“"I will go back"”
I had a great stay while passing through town. Room accommodations were nice. The manager was extremely pleasant. I encountered car problems just before arriving and the manager tried to assist. I will definitely use this hotel again.
“Very Pleased”
We had a king size bed that was very comfortable. The room was very large. The bathroom was a little small but it worked great and there was plenty of hot water. This was a great bargin and we will return.
“Budget Motel”
Perfectly fine for what it is -- a cheap place to stay convenient (less than 30 minutes up the highway) to PennState. Hotel is a little shabby looking, but the rooms were clean. Not the place I'd go for a romantic weekend, but if I were looking to crash for a football game, it's perfectly fine. It's a budget motel -- but sometimes that's all you need.
“"The Bates Motel Exists!"”
After not being able to find the place I called only to have the owner, with children yelling in the background, attempt to give me directions. I eventually consulted a police man for directions. The room stunk like cigarettes and aftershave and it was NOT clean. The alarm clock in the room must have been set to go off at 5am because it did just that and when it was time to leave no one was to be found in the so called reception area. However, a woman in front of a room, who was miteriously there when we arrived the night before in the same exact place, offered to tke my key and "check me out". Since I was in no way looking to stay any longer than I had to, I gave her my key and left.
“Don't do it!,”
Customer service sucked, the wifi was weak, mattresses were way too soft, towels were hard and dingy. The room smelled musky. The walls are paper thin. In short it was the worst hotel I've ever stayed in.
“YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR”
This was the cheapest option near Happy Valley for the NU vs PSU football game. We had two rooms with two guys in each. So for the price it was good for us. Wife and kids would not have liked it due to the lack of maintenance of the building and the slight smell in the rooms (although it appeared to be clean, just old). Overall, I would stay again, I just need a bed and shower. Had a small lounge with 2.50 20 oz drafts.
