"Absolutely loved our stay here which really made our trip to the salt flats special. The spa was lovely I had both a facial & massage & I enjoyed both. Probably the only thing that slightly lets the hotel down is the main restaurant. All the meals are served buffet style which didn’t look particularly good. We ate in the bar area instead which although had a limited menu served freshly cooked food. "

"Absolutely perfect hotel, wonderful breakfast, wonderful caring staff. Worth every penny, and it is very reasonably priced. The room was so large and comfortable, I really hated leaving. The bathroom was large and we had hot water on demand. There was a kitchen sink, a little stove and pots/pans and dishes. This was our most pleasant stay in Bolivia with beautiful views. My only regret was not being able to stay longer. We booked a couple of tours with them and they were fantastic and well...

"This is probably the best hotel in the town, great staff, a beautiful room, well designed to Western standards and a great view of the lake from the third floor. A glass wall in the bathroom afforded a view of the lake from the shower. They also provided us with an oxygen tank to the room for 180 bob which was great. What I didn't like was the shower over bath. The shower head was too close to the wall so I found myself with one leg up on the bath rim to try to get my body under the shower...

"Stayed due to LPB transit. The hotel staff can speak Spanish only, so we communicated by using the translator app. He seemed accustomed to such situations. The room was clean and comfort, except dust was accumulated in the bathroom crevices and it was washed out when I showered. Room locks are simple, but the hotel entrance is locked at night. If you are heading to the airport early in the morning, for example, just let the staff know and they will unlock the door."

"Busy hostel in busy part of El Alto. Very convenient for the airport, and the hotel arranged a pick up and also got me a tasty food take away delivered. The bed was also really comfortable. Only downside was check in was a bit clunky until the person with a bit of English rocked up. "

"The Tonito Hotel is the ONLY place to even consider staying in Uyuni! The hotel is truly an oasis in the salt desert! Chris and his team are top notch: very accommodating, friendly, helpful & just great people!! The restaurant (Minuteman Pizza) is EXCELLENT for both dinner & breakfast! The owners of the hotel are constantly on hand and are extremely active to ensure all their guests are happy! "

"This is a special place, really lovely people take great care to cook delicious meals, keep gardens looking beautiful, and give recommendations on what to do and see. Loved the room too. Be warned you do have to walk uphill a while to get there, was tough for us as we hadn’t acclimated to the elevation. But we’ll worth it!"

"Wonderful boutique hotel amongst the dusty and noisy streets of Uyuni. The surrounds were typical for the city unfortunately. We were only there for a night after the salt flats tour. Nice breakfast, helpful staff. Only negative is that our room was very cold and we never figured out the heating. But that was more our fault than anything. "

" Stellar customer service is the hallmark of this property. Pablo, the owner’s nephew was the hotel manager and he went above and beyond to make sure we were happy. We were one of two guest rooms booked during this off season, and when I inquired about where we could find dinner, he said they could prepare some for us and what time would we like to eat? We were the only ones eating, yet he made sure he turned on the music for atmosphere. The breakfast (included with your room) was delicious....
