10/10 Excellent

"Great location with all the mod cons required. Quiet and convenient: not too much, not too little. Walkable to the main Roman attractions. Staff friendly and helpful. Loved the bathroom “douche” (no bidet required). Breakfast buffet offered at v reasonable price and good choice. Didn’t use pool or gym but perfect for 1-2 day stopover."

Alora Apartamentos Mérida

"The room was large with a well equipped kitchen. To our surprise, there was a wide range of TV channels, including all the main UK ones. There was also a good-sized balcony. The apartment is in a quiet location, but all the main sites are in walking distance. The check-in process was a bit complicated, but the staff were all very pleasant and helpful. We had a problem at the entry barrier to the car park - in the strong sunshine it was impossible to see the numbers on the screen where you had to put in the code. The apartments are seemingly new and this is something the management should address. One other criticism - there was nowhere to take the waste and no recycling available in the building."

"Great staff and service. The hotel is very convenient for our travelling needs. It is clean, comfortable and has a great bar and restaurant used by guests and locals alike. Excellent parking too, which is a bonus. Breakfast is very good with a lot of choice including hot dishes. We will return later in the year."
