“Couldn't be better!”
We recently returned from a long weekend at Vitor's Village and could not have asked for more from our trip. The accommodation was even better than we expected, the apartment was immaculate and very spacious and the whole complex was very well looked after. We enjoyed the swimming pools and outdoor jacuzzi which were also very clean and well looked after. It was less than a 5 minute walk to the square where we had some delicious meals, we would definately recommend Farragood, which served amazing fish and meat dishes for a reasonable price. We also tried the hotel's Purple restaurant and were very impressed with the food there too and the hotel staff were all extremely helpful and friendly. The shuttle bus goes to a good choice of beaches and is very reliable, we also walked to one of the beaches but this took about 20-30mins. Overall this hotel made our break even better than we could have hoped for, definately would recommend!!
“Victory for Vitors”
What a great choice we made, reception staff very welcoming and helpfull during our weeks stay here.We arrived early and the room wasnt ready, as we were self catering we went and did some shopping getting good directions to the local supermarket even though there is a small shop on site for daily essentials.Any request was delt with very quickley. When we saw our room we were suprised that everything was exacly like the photos plenty of room and very clean, maid came every day. The main village of Ferragooda is 5/10 minutes walk from reception down hill where plenty of places to eat are situated, the walk back is a little harder as the hill is more of a challange after a good meal and a few drinks . Would we go back ? YES in a flash.A great relaxing holiday for couples and familys alike.
“Excellent Property”
The accomodation at Vitors was the best of our trip and we were in Spain and Portugal for more than ten days. Ferragudo is one of the unspoiled traditional fishing villages - great place to stay!
“What a lovely place”
We went for the weekend in April, when we got there we were dissapointed as we thought it would be on the beach, the beach is quite a walk away or the hotel will take ou by bus but it did nt matter the staff could nt do enough for us, the hotel was lovely and clean, the apartments were beautiful and the town was typical old Portugal ! the restaurants we re lovly the bars we re nice and we had a fantastic break !! Id recomend this hotel to anyone with small children and its a family place, although when we re there the pool area was empty most of the time, families started to arrive the day we came home. Farragudo is a lost jewel in Portugals crown ....try it we did and had a great time !
“Top Notch Algarve”
Vito's Village is a quality hotel in great location. The hotel has good facilities, with limited internet facilities (a good thing in my book for a relaxing holiday!). However the location makes it stand out. The village of Ferragudo is a quaint fishing village, unspoilt like Portimao (avoid!) that looms across the river. Priai Grande beach was fantstic for my 18 month old daughter being sheltered from the Atlantic rollers found on other nearby beaches. The hotel runs a free shuttle but it's a pleasant enough (if hilly) 20-30 min walk with a baby stroller. Staff are very helpful and can arrange local day trips (well worth a look).
“real good 4*”
the resort was great and the staff very friendly. very clean, comfy, spacious... my only criticisms are, no washing up liquid or equipment, but i suppose that's expected as it's self catering. and as our stay was off peak, the sky line bar was closed, so evenings were a very much going out thing. the village is wonderful, a real fishing village with some great restaurants, especially Portarade, in the square, and Farragood, both short walks from the resort. i would definatly go there again
“4 stars is right.”
We stayed for a week and had a nice time. The weather was awful for 7 days but that was a freak event so we were told. Were not able to use the pools due to the cold weather but the who complex is very nice and the staff are very pleasant. Rooms are a bit cold but only because they are designed for the warm weather. Location of the resort is fine but not a luxury location. Portimao and Ferragudo are a bit down and out places but boast a cultural experience. Would recommend it if you know for sure that it will be sunny when you go.
“No Soundproofing.”
Good location, friendly staff, and clean but very noisy rooms- walls and ceilings must be paper thin and for that reason I would not stay here again. Maybe we were unlucky with the room we had, but if you can ask to be on the top floor that might help, but we could also hear everything from the rooms either side.
