“Have stayed here 6 times before and always go to Ria Park”
although it's a largish hotel, you always feel it's your own because it so quiet and relaxing. Situated amongst pine forest just off the beach. A plaesant way to unwind in a quiet area. Have satyed here 6 times over the past 5 years and know the desk manager by first name and we are always greated sow rmly and asked if our room to our satisfaction and have been moved before when sun wasn't on balcony much, whilst we had a gin and tonic at the bar. You'll love the surrounding area that is so typically Portuguese.
“Friendly staff”
Great hotel
“Would love to go back”
We had a brilliant holiday here. The staff were all really polite, friendly and very helpful. We had a 16 month old baby with us and found meal times to be no problem. You could either choose from the childrens menu or they would happily heat up your own food. They also provide a babysitting service, although we didn't use it. The only recommendation I would make is to remember your sun tan lotion as the hotel shop was a bit pricey!
“lovley hotel”
This was our second visit to Ria Park, and it did not disapoint us. The staff were very friendley our room was very nice . The hotel has kept its traditional style which makes it more inviting. just a short walk to the beach which is the cleanest beach we have been on. Our garden view room was spacious and clean . the pool area was lovley with lots of sunbeds available. The hotel its self was very quiet which is perfect for a relaxing get away from it all holiday , it is a quiet spot and car hire would be recomended should you want to venture out. We love this hotel and will be returning.
“Luxury worth returning to!”
The hotel was absolutely great. Really luxurious. All the staff were curtious and helpful. The hotel was set in a beautiful location that had many hidden surprises. The grounds of the hotel were well almost idyllic, very well maintained, clean and impressive, you really felt that you were in your own little bit of paradise. The beach was surprisingly close if you wanted to walk, however the hotel provided a private shuttle service during the day to save your legs. The hotel restaurant provided the best breakfast - a buffet breakfast that has everything you could possibly imagine. We ate once in the evening (again a buffet, although a la carte is available) and were surprised at how expensive it was. So would reccommned not eating there as there are lovely restaurants near by or on the beach that we felt offered much better value for money. We were very impressed with the hotel and would reccommend it to anyone
“Very Good”
Not a 5* as we would know it but very nice none the less! Area shutting down as it is the end of the season. Hotel beach, loungers and towels are great and included some other charge up to Euro 30! Hotel food good and quick with helpful friendly staff. Some local restaurants are great but expensive.
“Fantastic hotel”
We had a wonderful stay at the Ria Park hotel. It certainly lived up to it's 5 star rating, our deluxe room was very clean and spacious. The hotel itself is very cool, airy and comfortable with the central atrium giving a very spacious feel to it. The staff were very attentive and helpful, we organised a transfer directly with them by telephone before our holiday and requested a child seat which they were happy to organise. All the staff were very friendly especially to our 16 month old toddler which really made his holiday. Fantastic breakfast and the pool bar was great for dinner for our son as it was open until 7pm. Good sized outdoor pool and a smaller "baby" pool, lots of loungers and the added benefit of an indoor heated pool. The spa didn't feature too heavily in our holiday, it's in a separate building in the hotel grounds and wasn't open but you could book a treatment if wished. The hotel also provides a courtesy mini bus that takes you around the Val Do Lobo resort which is very useful if you don't have transport. Although the hotel is not directly on the beach it was only a 15minute walk to the beach where the Ria Park has an assigned area with loungers and parasols or the minibus will drop you off. There were also 5 or 6 restaurants here too on the beach that had wonderful views and served great seafood. All in all a wonderful family holiday in a great hotel. Only negative of the holiday was that the area is expensive for dining out and taxis.
“wonderful!”
Stayed here in April-although weather was not good, hotel was super and the staff all very friendly and most obliging. Worth a visit.
“Ria Park Hotel & Spa - We will return!”
This really is a lovely hotel and the staff couldn't be more helpful. A quiet lush green location, only your hotel and lots of lovely private villas to nose at. Rooms are well equipped (although no tea and coffee making facilties) and kept very clean and tidy. Breakfast is great, a real selection. The pool bar has a good little menu, slightly costly but to be expected. We didn't use the restaurant at the hotel but a 10 minute walk down the road and you're on the beach and there are a few good beach bars/restaurants to choose from. We highly recommend 'That Shack', but Julia's and Izzy's were good too. If you're into sea food it will be perfect for you. I would recommend you eat at the hotel in the evening if you have kids and no car as the walk isn't ideal. The area is still under construction so roads and paths aren't finished off. Only complaint is that the shop, private beach and spa were closed while we were there mid October. They did offer to open the spa though! Taxi to hotel from airport was 25 euros (not including tip) but the hotel organised us a taxi on the way back which was a more 'executive version' and cost 32 euros (not including tip) but the driver was great and even called the airport to find out the number of our check in desk and took us right to it. We'll definately return - a perfect short break for me and mum
“Algarve and Almancil”
Ria Park Hotel was excellent in all respects but two - there was only effectively one restaurant, and it was a taxi ride to any other place to eat. This meant unforeseen cost in taxis: not a showstopper, but we hadn't realised the hotel was so isolated.
