Property Amenities
Situated 250 meters (273 yards) from the hotel, the Ria Park development's three-story, 1,000-square-meter (10,764-sq-ft) health spa features a two-story pavilion containing a 14-by-6-meter (45-by-20-ft) swimming pool equipped with water spouts and air jets for hydrotherapy. Cushioned teak lounge chairs and giant candles flank the pool. Four treatment rooms offer hydrotherapy, including Vichy and Scottish showers, while six other rooms with private showers are available for massage, body treatments, and facials. Signature treatments include the Floating Thermo Spa Session and the Underwater Massage with Oils or Seaweed.
The spa includes a relaxation lounge furnished with cushioned rattan lounge chairs. A spacious fitness room under a high, elaborately formed wood ceiling contains cardio machines, weight machines, and free weights. (Daily surcharge for use of swimming pool and fitness center.) Use of the hotel's health club, which contains a six-person spa tub, is complimentary during a 5-7 PM "happy hour," with a surcharge for other times.
For children, complimentary supervised outdoor activities are offered in summer. Wireless Internet access is also available in the lobby (surcharge.)

The hotel offers 109 extra-spacious guestrooms and suites in a four-story white building with tile roof and traditional Algarvian ornamental chimneys. Decor features pale-marble floors with blue area rugs, blue-and-white drapes, rattan headboards, and marble bathrooms with twin-sink vanities.

Lobby Bar - Expansive bar/lounge with marble floor, upholstered rattan seating, potted plants, terrace overlooking swimming pools. Open early evening to late night for sandwiches, cocktails.
Pool Bars - Two poolside bars open in summer for sandwiches, burgers, pizza, omelets, tropical drinks.
Recreation
A 27-meter (90-foot) freeform outdoor swimming pool paired with a 5.5-meter (18-foot) children's pool provides warm-weather swimming.
The nearest beach is Vale do Garrão, 900 meters (984 yards) from the hotel, with complimentary shuttle service available from May through October. Unlike the western Algarve, where cliffs interrupt beaches, sand extends unimpeded for miles in this area along the Atlantic Ocean. The hotel provides complimentary lounge chairs, umbrellas, and towels on the beach. Independent operators rent water sports gear on the beach during the summer.
The hotel includes two lighted tennis courts (surcharges) and rents bicycles.
Six golf courses lie within five km (three mile) of the hotel, two within the Vale do Lobo development to the west and four within the Quinta do Lago development to the east. The hotel arranges for golf pro to provide private lessons (surcharges) for guests. A horse stable two km (1.25 mile) north of the hotel offers horseback riding, and a gun club is 1.25 km (0.75 mile) away.

Very close to the beach, beautiful hotel, and super friendly staff.

The hotel is more than adeqaute for a family holiday but there is little for children to do at the hotel therefore a hire car would be advisable to get to places with a little more going on. The breakfasts are first rate and the snack/drinks around the pool are also good. The main hotel bar lacks atmosphere later in the evening but generally to hotel is pretty good. The nearby Ria Park Hotel is very nice and more emphasis is given to that hotel than the Ria Park Garden
“A great place to relax”
The Ria Park Garden provides a comfortable environment for a relaxing family holiday- staff are friendly and very attentive to everyone's needs. Breakfast is excellent. Big spacious rooms with balconies- our room was super, but the bathroom, although clean and well equipped, was in need of refurbishment. Our daughter's family suite, in the newer block, was first class. Lovely pool, with excellent pool bar and kiddies park about 10 mins walk away. Big plus is the courtesy bus to the beach, where the hotel has its own private area with sun beds, umbrellas and towels. Lots of restaurants on beach if you want to spend the day there. Hotel not great on communicating its facilities - but when we asked, we were given a very helpful booklet with details of restaurants, places to visit etc. Not much to do in the hotel at night, but good choice of restaurants within a 5 mile radius. As the hotel is far from any other night life, a car is strongly recommended.
“Check whether there are any large groups/conferences expected”
Having stayed at this hotel twice previously and very much enjoyed a quiet relaxing break, we were rather alarmed to arrive to find a group of (we understand) 500 mainly twenty somethings (some we believe staying at the sister hotel), attending a sales/business conference at the hotel. The majority seemed to smoke and the noise as they returned in the early hours after a Saturday night out kept us awake. This all made it far from quiet and relaxing ! Fortunately they departed 48 hours after our arrival and tranquility returned !!
