Property Amenities
Guests are allowed access to numerous recreational amenities, including five golf courses (discounts offered to guests); a sports complex that contains an indoor pool and health club; an equestrian center; a shooting club; a tennis center; and jogging, hiking, and bicycle trails (surcharges). In the summer, personal watercraft, kayaks, and windsurfers can be rented on the beach.
A roundtrip airport shuttle and train station pick-up service is provided upon advanced request for a surcharge. Luggage storage and tours/ticket assistance is available.
Rooms
Prado do Golf offers 44 apartments and villas in white, flat-roofed buildings. Apartments and villas are identically decorated and furnished and feature white walls and ceilings, gray tile floors, built-in shelves holding pottery, and twin-sink bathrooms with shower/tub combinations. Fully equipped with dishes and pots/pans, kitchenettes include four-burner ranges, compact refrigerators, and toasters.
Apartments and villas do not have air conditioning. Thick walls help keep units cool in summer, and louvered doors and shutters permit air circulation. During cool winter months, walls heaters in bedrooms and living/dining rooms provide warmth. Each unit also includes a fireplace in the living/dining room.
Apartments are in two-story buildings and include either a ground-floor patio or second-floor balcony, while villas are one-story and include ground-floor patios. Apartments are slightly larger than villas.

Bistro O Sino - Small indoor dining room with solarium section. Candlelight at night. Also, open-air terrace seating at thatched-shade tables in summer season. Shaded open-air bar with video games. À la carte service for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Lunch/dinner menu featuring soups, suckling pig, steak, ribs, chicken, local seafood. Childrens' menu available.
Recreation
The full range of Vilamoura's numerous recreational opportunities are available to Prado do Golf guests for surcharges. These include five golf courses (discounts offered to guests); a sports complex that contains an indoor pool and health club; an equestrian center; a shooting club; a tennis center; and jogging, hiking, and bicycle trails. During summer season, various water sports gear, including personal watercraft, kayaks, and windsurfers, can be rented from independent operators on the beach.

“Will definetely be going back”
A lovely relaxing place to stay. Staff and especially the pool were just great making it a lovely place be.

In a nutshell the staff were extremely friendly and helpful, the rooms were rustic but a nice size and very clean and our holiday was made all the better for where we stayed. Both my partner and i would definately recommend these villas especially from my partners point of view as we were surrounded by fantastic golf courses for which excellent discounts were given.

My husband and I have just come back from our first trip to Portugal - it won't be our last. Booking to stay at Prado do Golf with Expedia was one of the best moves we have made. Totally beyond our expectations for a budget trip. Large, comfy, clean accomodation was just great. The provision of a fully stocked kitchen - equipment wise was a bonus so we could cook and eat on the private patio over-looking well appointed, well mainitained gardens. The pool area was spotless and the bar a bonus for when we couldn't be bothered to go into town. Reception staff were friendly and helpful with great English! Really, Prado is a gem.
“Lovely place, shame about the bad weather!”
The Prado do Golfe villa was much bigger than it looks in the pictures and was spotlessly clean and comfortable, with a well equipped kitchen and lovely balcony overlooking the gardens (we had an orange tree right outside too!). The pool is also very well looked after - just a shame we had such bad weather we couldn't use it much. The restaurant and pool bar serve good snacks and evening meals and at very good prices if you don't fancy the trek into Vilamoura. Buses run from right outside the villas so it is cheap and easy to get in to town and to other locations e.g. Albufeira and Faro. There is a supermarket 5 minutes walk away. All we needed was the sun to shine!!!

“A relaxation haven - will be returning”
Reception gave a warm & friendly welcome. Apartment in good condition, bedding & towels lovely & clean. Library of books left by previous travellers. Kitchen extremely well equiped with all crockery, glasses etc., a bottle opener & ice tray. Locate meter cupboard on arrival as all lights, wall heater, TV & cooker will trip fuses. I was able to have TV, lounge light, 3 rings & grill on though.
“Excellent venue for quiet break”
Really enjoyed the quiet surroundings. good local bus service into Vilamoura and Albuferia. Nice welcome of free wine with first meal in restaurant. Sea bass was lovely. Staff very helpful and friendly everywhere. Definitely would recommend and go back.
“Will be back again”
A small complex of about 30 villa's and appartments some one and some two bedrooms. The furnishings are dated in many, but a few have been brought up to date. Although dated they were clean and comfortable and towel and bed linen changed regularly. This is a quiet site ,some 3kilometers from Vilamours marina and a car in my opinion is a must although a number of holiday makers used the local bus service and taxies. There was a full sized electric oven with 4 rings, a kettle and a toaster with all other utencils and crockery necssary for self cattering. There is a bar /resturant and lovely swimming pool on site. This site, staff and acommadation suits us fine, we being two 68 year olds, not recommended for children, nothing for them on site
“Can't wait to go back”
The hotel was quite a distance from the Marina and the Beach. A car is a must, as the nearest Supermarket was a 15 minute walk away. Lovely little Bistro at the resort, which did an excellent breakfast everyday. The villas are very homely, the beds were comfortable. My only disappointment was there was no hairdryer supplied.
