“Comment on Hotel Velamar”
Very pleasant overnight stay in February 2011, would use it again.
“Good holiday at Velamar”
This hotel represented excellent value for money. The staff were great and helped us make reservations and book trips. The breakfast was good, lots of fresh fruit, croissants, yogurt, cereal. We had a room overlooking the pool which was quiet, we had no traffic noise. The hotel is situated in a small village with a few restaurants and shops, this was fine as we had planned a relaxing holiday but if we came again we would probably stay in Vilamoura as there is more going on there. One thing we didn't like was paying 3 euros a day plus a €15 deposit to use the room safe.

A very nice hotel,w ith helpful staff and maintained to a very high standard. One criticism is lack of restaurant facility within hotel. We stayed at hotel over Christmas period and vast majority of local restaurants and bars were shut down!
“2nd visit as good as 1st”
Spent ten days at the hotel velamar oct 17-27...have to say it was as good as last year on every aspect!! great smiling helpful staff, good breakfast and a very clean hotel...special thanks for the lovely room..
