"We have been coming to this property since our honeymoon 37 years ago. Very disappointed this year that the outdoor bar and grill is now 'garden' style where you have to go to the counter and order your own food and drinks. No more servers waiting on us. Even though we had to go up to put our orders in, the bar area was understaffed. The Loft was closed when we were there, the Chophouse was not open Sunday evening, the water park was closed. The rooms were clean. Of course, the location is perfect! We rented a pontoon and the guy at the marina was very helpful. The pontoon did have some of the canopy broken but it worked ok. We used both pools which were nice. We swam at the beach....watch out for the geese! Lots of goose droppings but no staff to clean it up. Some garbage was on the grounds below our room and no one cleaned it up the entire time we were there. Whole place seemed understaffed."

"There was nothing wrong with this property. It was fine for the price. The staff was helpful. The room was clean. It overlooked the parking lot. But, I didn’t choose it for the ambiance- I needed a place to stay after a meeting. The breakfast was a bit underwhelming- I had a waffle. The only other hot item was a couple prepackaged omelets that didn’t look appealing- and some breakfast potatoes. Again- nothing wrong- just fine."

"Don't let the modest looking picture of the front fool you. This property was perfect. On the main level is a large, beautiful, newly refurbished (it appeared) open kitchen-living room that joins the large screened-in porch. Downstairs is the master bedroom with adjoining two-sink bath. Morning coffee listening to the red-wing blackbirds and yellowthroats was delightful. We'll be back."

"Great location and very responsive communications. This home is loaded with bedrooms and beds easily accommodating our family. View to lake from home and especially from deck are great. Kitchen and living room are open and very nice. The bedrooms and baths need a few updates. Lighting for each is only over head spots. Nightstand lamps and over sink lights would be nice adds. Would also recommend towel bars in the bathrooms.This home is part of a multi home rental property that has a bit of construction ongoing - but the owners made sure we were not disturbed over the weekend that we were present. Very nice hosts who live on the property."
