“Wonderful Weekend Getaway”

We could not have been more pleasantly surprised. The entire staff was warm, friendly, and very accomodating for our group of five. From Check-In to Check-out every member of the staff was smiling and very welcoming. When asked a question they were all more than willing to go the "extra mile" to assist. The room was very clean and welcoming when we arrived late in the night. Even as late as it was the desk clerk was smiling, alert, and welcoming when asked for extra towel and a spare blanked for the sofa-bed. The mattresses were a perfect combination for each member of our party and everyone was able to sleep well through the night. The breakfast the next morning offered anything you could want Waffles, Eggs, Sausage, Toast, Bagles, Muffins, Coffee, Tea, Milk, and several Juices. There were even fresh baked cookies at the front desk during the afternoon hours. We will definately be staying again our next trip to Axlexandria.

“Comfort Inn”

The hotel was wonderful. This may have been the best and most comfortable bed that have ever slept in. THe room was clean. I was really impressed with the size of the room and the set up. The front desk staff was very nice. I only had two complaints: the hotel advertises a free breakfast. Our first day there we had an awesome hot breakfast with hot grits, waffles, sausage and eggs. However, the second day of our stay, there was no breakfast. The front desk clerk explained that the person assigned to make breakfast that morning did not show up but she had called a replacement. By 9am, the replace still had not arived and we had to eat breafast elsewhere. The second complaint involved the towels. THis is a new hotel, however the towels appeared to be old and used. The edges on a couple of our towels had frayed adn they were all very dingy and dirty looking even though they were clean. THe location is convenient to Hwy 49. There wa a McDonalds and Burger King all within walking distance. The hotel is pushed back from the street and is a isolated area whic makes it very quiet. I would stay in this hotel again if ever in the area.

“The name is true: comfort, and at a very reasonable price”

I found the Comfort Suites in Alexandria extremely comfortable. My room was very large, with excellent beds, a desk, and a sofa, plus a microwave and fridge. The complimentary breakfast was entirely satisfactory, with a good variety of fresh food. High praise to the staff, as well. Everyone I dealt with was exceptionally friendly and welcoming. It is located very near the airport and the Interstate highway, and only about a 10 minute drive from the downtown area. What surrounds it is pretty typical for a highway exit area, with mostly gas stations, fast food, and other hotels, but there is a Cracker Barrel restaurant close by.

Nice smaller suites, well furnished as well. They would be very comfortable for a few days. Its not Embassy but not the Embassy Suites price. All HD flat panel TV's in every room plus wireless internet. The breakfast has hot items, not to order but definitely more than bagels and yogurt. The hot tub could be hotter.

“Thanksgiving Stay”

The property was easy to find. The hot Continental breakfast was very tasty and the assortment was great. Check in and Check out were quick and easy. I plan to make this my stopping place when I am in this area.

“Will Definitely Stay Again”

I was very pleased with this hotel as were my family members who stayed in the room next to mine. The bed was very comfortable, the rooms were clean and I loved the no smoking policy of the entire hotel. The breakfast was wonderful - fruit, yogurt, waffles, sausage, bacon, eggs, oatmeal, fruit juice, milk, muffins, bagels, etc. Everything but the hash browns, which I didn't miss. The staff were friendly when I asked for assistance with the wireless internet. This hotel deserves more stars than the current rating.
