Excellent place to stay
Lovely little old-school motel, well kept, spotlessly clean and bright as a new pin. The host was very welcoming and gave us a spacious room with a verandah overlooking the beautiful garden. Good cooking facilities, excellent shower, high ceilings and plenty of sunshine. The guest laundry and friendly cat were a bonus. Short distance from town and super quiet at night.We'd stay again without hesitation.

The accommodation was very spacious and very clean with a well equipped kitchen. Our children loved the beautiful garden and playground. Friendly staff and very close to the Otago Central Rail Trail. Thanks for a great stay!

A very pleasant stay at a typical small town NZ motel. Clean, Tidy, Comfortable. Reasonably priced. Nothing flash about it but simple and easy going. lovely garden, and a friendly cat.

A clean room and pleasant host
The host was pleasant and gave us a lot of information about the area, what to do and where to eat upon our check-in. The room was clean. We will go back there again.

The motel is set in a lovely location not far from town. Great and easy access to rail trail and mountain bike trails. Beautiful gardens to look out over, our kids loved the pool and enjoyed watching the gold fish. Lovely to receive fresh towels each day. Thoroughly recommend and will return.

Lovely spot
Lovely quiet place to stay, disappointed that we weren’t able to use the pool due to it being too windy as the temperature was in the late 20’s and a dip in the pool would’ve been perfect! Other than that was a great stay..

Sorry you were disappointed about the cover being on the pool in the high winds the weather can be frustrating at times, we keep the cover on the pool when it is windy as to many leaves blow in it and this makes the pool not nice to swim in. But we are pleased you enjoyed your stay.

As my wife has stroke disabilities and the bedroom was on a different level, we didn't know this before booking. We would stay at this motel again but would like a different bedroom. The motel was great in all other areas.

This is a lovely quiet motel with a beautiful garden. The staff are friendly and helpful. I really like the trampoline and play equipment and this summer- the pool! What a bonus on a hot Alexandra afternoon.

Good size well equipped, little dated. Ashtrays outside for smokers, but for those of us who aren't would be nice for them to be emptied. Info.folder could be updated, and proof read on spelling.

Owners were not friendly and very nosy. Felt so unwelcome! Not eco friendly at all either. One day our room wasn’t cleaned but the towels were replaced when our only request was to not replace towels for environmental reasons. I don’t trust the bookings either as the only booking available was the large two bedroom apartment (their most expensive accommodation) , yet didn’t see any one else in any other rooms during the 4 nights I was there.

Old but nice
Great value for money, the family unit had everything we needed, property was clean and tidy, very well equipped kitchen, strong hot water shower. Beautiful garden view from the windows.
