This is a great motel and we would love to stay again. The room was clean, beds were comfortable and shower was fantastic. The pool was amazing. Great set up for kids. Pool noodles etc. My kids really enjoyed this motel. There was a table and chairs both inside the room and on the adjoining balcony. We had such a great time, staff were helpful and friendly. There was no allocated parking, but there was a lot of space to park.

Worst stay ever
There were beetles everywhere, could not sleep whole night. Kids couldn’t sleep as there were 100s of beetles since our room didn’t had any door seal and by the time we knew that the beetles are coming from under neath the door, we had 100s of them in the room. Also the room is smelly, damp and have slider webs everywhere. Highly unhigenic to stay with kids. Worst ever stay.

Great find.
This was a great find for us in Albury. We needed a room to stay at short notice after we decided not to camp in the rain! We had a caravan in tow and needed somewhere to stay that would accomodate us. The guys at Crystal Fountain were very accomodating even offering to help us park the van. The room was great. Clean, comfy bed, good linen and a great shower - all the things you need on a road trip. And we got a great price! A set of crockery is provided as well as a toaster which is great for a quick breakfast before getting back on the road. The only thing I would say is that a tea towel would have been useful- not sure if it was just our unit that was missing one. I’m not opposed to washing the dishes and putting them away again but I need a tea towel to dry them with!

check in was fantastic. very quick the Lovely Lady had the key in her hand as I walked in. the only gripe was there was a large cobweb above the tv that kept bugging me. bed was very comfy, I will stay again during future travels

Room wasn’t clean. Long public hairs on the shower wall. Overall the place was run down and needs more than a coat of paint. No TV remote in room. Service desk wasn’t maned from 6pm to 10am Beds were comfortable

I booked this place because the pool looked really nice and I thought I might enjoy a relaxing swim after a long drive. After I checked in, I could hear a cacophony of screaming children coming from the pool area so I put that idea on hold. Instead I went looking for something to eat and found the local area was disappointing with lots of fast food restaurants but nothing of substance. By the time I got back to my room I was exhausted. I thought a hot shower would be great at this point but as I searched around the room I couldn't find a single bath towel. I badly needed a good night's sleep but the bed was not comfortable. The mattress was too soft and offered no support at all. The room was hot and stuffy but thankfully the aircon worked well. In the morning I woke up feeling sore all over. I was really desperate for a hot shower so I called the reception a few times but nobody answered. In the end I went ahead and showered with only a hand towel and a couple of face towels to dry myself. The shower head was also a joke. It was positioned so low that I had to squat or duck to get my hair and face wet. The temperature and pressure were great but the stream was so narrow that I could only wash one limb at a time. In summer this was OK but in winter it would have been hell. The pool was empty at this point but I still had no towel. When I returned my key I saw a sign that said reception was only staffed from 10am to 7pm.

Very, very old facilities but very clean which was good (a bit too much disinfectant though , smell was overpowering.) Ripped curtain, small hole in wall, ripped flatscreens etc overall just very old and neglected. Disturbing part was construction Acroprops were holding up an awning with a screwdriver used as a safety pin in it!!!! Should all be cordoned off! So dangerous!

I apologise that as a cheaper motel we did not meet your expectations. We are constantly upgrading our facilities in an attempt to provide a better customer experience. e.g. new curtaining ordered. As such we take on notice your comments. Re the acroprops, the area was cordoned off but removed for the external contractor to complete the brickwork which was damaged by a guest. Not a quick fix, sadly!

The property is in a great location with every fast food restaurant you can think of within a km on the same road. The shopping centre is 1 min away and cheapest fuel across the road.
