I am an American who has been living in Australia for 10 years. This was my first time back to one of our classic road-side 2.5 star motels and it was a great reminder that this style of stay can well be worth the price. Staff and room were great as was lobby presentation. I wouldn't stay here for a honeymoon or anything but would come back 100 times over if travel required it. Great breakfast buffet for the price as well (biscuits and gravy even!).
“Wonderful stay! Would stay there again!”
I stayed here for two nights, and my entire stay was great! The rooms were clean, quiet, and the staff was very nice and professional. The manager was VERY pleasant and helpful. If I were to have a complaint, the only one was that the pool was very cold, but then it was an overcast day. The breakfast was a bit more than a continental breakfast, but not quite a hot breakfast (they did have scrambled eggs, hash browns and bacon in a food warmer), but my family really didn't mind, as breakfast was good. The kids loved that they could make their own waffles and toast, and the fruit was HUGE!! Overall, the stay was a really nice one. I'll be sure to stay there again when I'm in Albuquerque!! Thanks!!

I enjoyed my stay at the Clarion in Albuqerque, the staff was vert attentive to all of my needs, will stay at the Clarion next time I am in Albuqerque.

We were there during the Albuquerque Balloon Fiesta...Everything was really good...but in an effort to make sure outsiders weren't helping themselves to the full breakfast, it didn't seem like there was a good system in place to monitor who is eating. During our stay in changed three times...we never knew from one morning to the next what system would be in place. But overall we liked the hotel and would definitely stay again.
“Very nice hotel”
The room was very nice & clean. Great hot breakfast in the morning. Close to the balloon festival. On my trip, the balloons weren't flying due to wind.
