"El Faro continues to be one of our go-to hotels when in PR! The location is great, with Crash Boat beach just a mile away, tens of food options, and just a couple of miles away from the highway. The property, as well as our room,was clean, maintained and well furnished. They added a second pool which is bigger than the original and a quieter as is a bit removed the restaurant. Speaking of-the restaurant remains on point! The drinks-from coffee, to natural juices and cocktails are very good! The food is not only tasty but as the rest of the menu, are well priced. The premises are landscaped, and have several fruit trees like starfruit and mangoes which we always take advantage of. Last but not least, the staff. The guys are great! Professional, cordial, and accomodating. There's never been a question they've nit followed up on! We love staying there and will do so again!"

"Very nice place. Courteus and helpful staff.clean room and common areas. Great location at the heart of the town. Nice little pool.could provide some privacy for guests using it .I felt like a fish in an aquarium with all the people coming and going thru the lobby watching. Actually the restaurant and bar are just great. Food is super and staff is so dedícated to please customers ."

"There not control at the pool at night, what look like people from outside were jumping the fence to use it, also around 3:00 am there were people at the pool drinking and talking loudly leaving trash and broken glass, also the music at the near bar was so loud that I could sleep. Parking is a joke, only four for so many rooms… I’ll never stay or recommend anybody to stay in this place… I understand that some of the issues are not under control of the owner but it was a horrible experience to stay in this place"

"Great staff and location. The hotel needs some TLC particularly the gardens and pool area. The bathrooms were nicely decorated and very clean. There was a graduation celebration and woke up to trash and food around the pool area (tray of hamburger and hot dog sausage). The staff was very efficient in cleaning up the mess early morning around 5-6am (I’m an early riser;). A guest was very impolite mentioning in Spanish to a staff that “he hoped they put Clorox in the pool” as I was passing by. I vented tearfully to the staff at the front desk who showed empathy and apologized. I would recommend this hotel and will stay there again. Couldn’t allow one ignorant, rude comment to ruin my vacation."
