“Would Love to go Back!”
The hotel was great! Staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable and serviced every day. Location was excellent. It was right on the beach and close to restaurants and cafes and the tram to the city was just outside the hotel. Stayed 10 nights and would be very happy to go back again.
“Excellent stay in Glenelg”
This hotel provides an excellent seaside base whilst in Adelaide. Beachfront location with frequent trams to City outside the door (25mins). Breakfast was good & staff friendly & obliging. Rooms very comfortable (we had a deluxe Ocean View room). Lots of good cafes / restaurants lining Jetty Rd alongside the hotel. Good Italian Pizza / pasta place right next door.
“Stamford Grand Glenelg Adelaide SA”
The Stamford Grand at Glenelg is one of the best places to stay in Adelaide. Right on the beach and surrounded by great restaurants, shops and coffee shops. It's just 20 minutes from downtown Adelaide via the tram and just 20 steps from beach. I'm sure it's not cheap in beach season but I am an annual winter traveler and find it to be a great deal and so relaxing to wake up on the sea.

This hotel is in a great location and is "grand" in style. We booked a room with ocean views which added to the experience.
“Good quality hotel in convenient, sea-side location”
The entrance to the hotel "through" a multi-storey carpark and limited access belies the quality of the hotel, and the sea-views from the rear. Clean, comfortable rooms. Full-breakfast of good value, general bar area rather disappointing even allowing for renovation-works(?) at time of visit. Good access to local "attractions", restaurants and bars, and transport (trams) into Adelaide.

“Luxury experience at a reasonable rate”
Top rated hotel which appears to be renovated within the last few years, has all the creature comforts of home located within close proximity to everything the town of Adelaide has to offer. Highly recommended place to stay for business, family vacation or romatic get-away. Good on ya!
“Glenelg Stamford Experience worth the expense”
Stayed here for second time and enjoyed it once again. Position is great and although the shops along Jetty Rd look as if they are finding the retail trade difficult and some of the bars and cafes are looking a bit scruffy, you can't beat its location. It was a holiday weekend in Adelaide the weekend we arrived but we were not aware of that. It would have been good to know of the functions being hosted when we booked. Escaping the AFL grand final to find the other code grand final on the big screen outside the hotel was a bit of a concern. Luckily it was a warm day and we spent our time on the beach as far away from the noise as we could get. As the hotel is very pricey, you should be warned of any functions that impact on all guests.
“Great Location”
The breakfast buffet is excellent, the location is pefect. Plenty of restuarants locally, nice, very nice !!
