“Loved it! Best hotel I've been to. Enjoyed it very much. 5 stars!”

I loved this hotel! It was very pleasant to stay in. Perfect location, in the heart of the city of Adelaide. Staff were incredibly kind and caring, and very professional, which I loved. I would recommend this hotel to anyone. Rooms were comfortable and in good condition. Loved my stay there.

“Four plus service at 5 stars”

Arrived very late (just after midnight) and staff most helpful but slow with bags. Upgraded to Executive floor. Breakfast order was lost but room service rushed to fill when notified. Front desk a bit unhelpful with late checkout (breakfast arrived 10.40, checkout at 11.00am). Checked out OK at 11.30 then waited nearly 60mins for car despite ringing for it at about 11.00 am. Not charged for breakfast or parking as a result.

“nice location and normal service”

very nice location in the centre of the city, close by the central market which was great. walking distance to most of the places of interest in the city. was raining one evening, and i was trying to get a umbrella from the front dest, but the stuffs were talking to each other and ignore me at least for 3 min. anyway, comfortable room, nice view, good location and normal service.

When to go
use adelaide city as your place to sleep, and drive to the winery and historical towns around which is great.

“Extremely Satisfied”

We were completely satisifed with the welcome, check in, room and buffet breakfast. The city centre (Rundle Street Mall) is only two tram stops from the hotel. The Victoria Square tram stop is out the front of the hotel. The bonus is the Central Markets & Chinatown are right behind the hotel. The outlook from our room was over the open and spacious Victoria Square Park. All the staff we came into contact with were more than happy to be of assistance & all requests were attended to without fuss. The Buffet Breakfast was excellent, certainly as good as other 4/5 star hotels we have stayed in both in Australia & overseas. The hotel is modern, clean & well maintained. It is obviously popular with the locals as there was a 400 guest cocktail party there one evening during our stay. It is ideally situated between Gouger & Grote Streets where many cafes & restaraunts are located. You can ride the tram up and down King William Street from one end of the city to the other for free within the city boundary. We are glad we found the 4 night package for this hotel on Expedia and would use this website again.

Adelaide City Centre, South Australia, Australia: Surrounded by parkland almost three times the size of Manhattan’s Central Park, Adelaide is spread over 1.6 square kms (1 square mile) in a north-south, east-west grid of wide streets and four main squares. The main street, King William, runs from north to south through Victoria Square in the heart of the city. Some 29 parks are dotted within the central business district, and Australia’s most concentrated collection of department stores, boutiques, and speciality shops is located in Rundle Mall, home to more than 800 retailers. The city boasts in excess of 700 restaurants, cafes, and bars, with entire streets – such as Gouger and Rundle – evolving as “eat streets” of al fresco dining and international menus. Adelaide is renowned for its arts and theatre, and is the gateway to some of Australia’s most famous wine-growing regions. Free city-loop buses (“the Connector” and the solar-powered “Tindo”) visit the main tourist attractions.
