“Wonderful place to stay”
I stayed at a single room apartment for three nights and was very satisfied with my stay. I would strongly recommend this hotel.
“Best value of money!!!!”
Best value of money!!!! Friendly staffs, clean rooms.....
“Good city centre location”
Good city centre location with car parking. Smart modern decor with usual facilities in room.
“Clean and comfy”
Nice hotel, clean and comfortable, close to the city, staff were friendly and helpful. The only thing I didnt like was there was no cutlery, plates, bowls or toaster. There was literally only 2 coffee mugs, 2 glasses and 2 teaspoons and a kettle so you had no choice but to dine out for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Otherwise a very nice hotel with great service.
“Welcome to the 1960s!”
Like the rest of Adelaide, this hotel feels stuck in the 1960s with very retro decor. I also felt that the applicances hadn't all been replaced since, but this only added to the charm. Overall highly recommended!
“good value for money”
A reasonably priced hotel a pleasant 20 minutes walk from the city centre. A great choice of eating places on the doorstep (Melbourne street) with a mini market and wine store within 100m. We had a relaxing holiday which incorporated our friends wedding in the adelaide hills.
“Has been revamped”
This hotel has had a revamp since I last stayed here so is better now as it used to be a bit run down. It is party of the Country Club Hotel & Resorts chain their other hotels are all good
“Never stay at this hotel again”
The hotel was not as described on the website. The bathroom had dangerous sharp edges exposed and someone can easily cut their feet when taking a shower. The carpet really need replacing. The worst part was when someone from the room above taking a shower or using the toilet you can hear very very loud sound of the running toilet/shower water noise all night. I have stayed at cheaper hotel but the condition was better than this room. This room was very much the same as one of the negative feedback that i have read.
“Mislead by brouchers sighted. Let the "Eye" Beware.”
The Meridian is applying to convert to apartments hence no maintenance.
“don't be fooled this place is terrible, not even 1 star”
This hotel should not be called a hotel, it is dreary, old, tired and noticeably poor. i am shocked it was listed with Expedia and carried a 3-4 star rating, who rated this place, one of their owners? i am sorry to say this was one of the worst rooms i have stayed in in Australia, will never go there again.
