"Excellent hotel but away from the centre"
We stayed at this hotel for three nights in late March. The facilities are excellent and the attitude of the staff first-class.

"Convenient location!"
Staff was very friendly. Conceriege is knowledgeable to the restaurants in the area. Location of hotel is well located. Most sites were in walking distance. Rooms are a little small, but that's typical of European hotels.

"Outstanding hotel, outstanding location"
Fantastic weekend trip to Rome sealed by staying at this hotel. The manager and staff were superb and utterly helpful; having mentioned our plans for the day, without asking, they researched best options and with no pressure at all gave us time saving and money saving options to make the day even better. From arranging taxis, to recommendations to improve our stay and experience the help offered was outstanding. We stayed in the apartments which are less than 5 minute walk from the hotel (due to family sleeping requirements) - we were disappointed at first not to be staying in the main hotel but seeing the quality of the apartment, that was completely forgotten. Breakfast on the roof top terrace is an absolute must as it overlooks the Colosseum. I unreservedly recommend this hotel for the location (proximity to the Colosseum, Forum) and outstanding staff.

"Great hotel, great location"
We stayed at the hotel for a weekend. The staff were very helpful and friendly throughout our stay. They made dinner reservations for us and also booked tickets for the Vatican which was very helpful. We received a room upgrade to a superior room, it was enormous and very comfortable. The hotel itself was walking distance to all the sites and felt central to everything. We would highly recommend it.

"Beautiful city hotel."
We booked this hotel for a family weekend trip to Rome to watch Rugby. We had stayed here about 9 years ago and remembered it well. We were a party of 14 family members of different ages, all members of out party loved the Hotel . Check in was very simple even though we arrived at different times. Breakfast was a real highlight, set in lovely bright restaurant with a great choice of breakfast foods.

"Great Hotel"
First time in Rome and this hotel was a 10 min cab ride from the Vatican and Colosseum. Staff were great and upgraded us to a room with a huge balcony that could fit 8. Would stay here again.

"Their Website Doesn't Lie!"
I always get disappointed by the website pictures versus the hotel--but in this case, the pictures don't do it justice. Some other reviewer said that, but it wasn't till I got there that I verified that it is indeed a very beautiful place. We stayed there for 10 days, 2 adults, 1 child. There is quite a variation in the rooms, but all of them are clean. We upgraded from our Expedia price about half way through to a higher up, nicer room. Really, the cheaper price was just a little plainer--just as clean. The concierge's were very hit or miss on their information--my only real complaint. There are other nice hotels right next to it, so we walked over to the other hotels and talked to *their* concierges. They were very kind to our daughter, and very nice when I wasn't feeling well. The breakfast was good but the same every day... Same buffet for 10 days is tedious. The staff was very professional and took care of every thing we wanted. Room Service was *really* good food for dinner, though it is next door to the hard rock cafe (which, if you have kids, insures you can get some mac and cheese or a hamburger). Will stay there again on future trips.

"Rome if you want to"
Great hotel in great location. Close enough to everything you need to do in Rome. Right by Termini train station so access from plane to train to hotel is ideal(not Ryanair airfield) Unexpectedly modern feeling hotel inside a lovely traditional looking posh hotel. Being so close to Termini station is great but be advised that certain areas close to the station are a little run down. Rome has a reputation for pickpockets and even the locals will warn you when leaving bags on seats etc. but don't let this put you off. Be sensible when out and about and you won't have any issues. Staff at the hotel were very good and we really enjoyed the stay, make sure you check out the spa for a chillax as it's lovely.
