We have just returned from a long weekend at Bettoja Hotel Mediterraneo. The hotel is beautiful and an easy walk from the station, bus tours and plenty of restaurants and cafe's. The staff were very helpful especially Walter. Look out for Walter, he's great! Breakfast on the roof top terrace is a must. The panoramic view is fantastic. Our suite was quirky and well equipped. Comfortable too. We couldn't fault much at all and really enjoyed our stay. We would highly recommend this hotel.
For our 25th wedding anniversary European trip, we chose to have our longest stay in one place be in Rome. We chose this hotel due to its price and location and was not disappointed. We walked with our luggage from Termini to the hotel with minimal stops for direction. The check-in staff first appeared stern but I later understood it to be a cultural matter. Our room was spacious by European standards and clean. Our best surprise was going down to breakfast (which was included), and seeing the spread of items and breakfast area! It was wonderful. The staff was accommodating and surpassed our American expectations. I truly loved our experience and would definitely stay here again should I have the great fortune of visiting Roma again in the future.
My husband and I have just returned from at lovely 4 night stay at the Eurostar International Palace. We went for a 1st wedding anniversary and it was a perfect base. It is very central and you are within walking distance of the Colisseum, Trevi Fountain, Spanish Steps and the Termini and Republicca train stations. We opted for an economy room and it was a little on the small size, but as to be expected with a cheaper room. Our window view was the other side of the building, however, this meant it was quiet with no traffic from the busy Via Naczionale. Hotel staff were lovely and offered advise on where to go and where to eat. The entrance has beautiful paintings to welcome you in. At least 4 lifts so getting to our room was quick. The bathroom was spacious with walk in shower and toiletries provided. Cleaner came everyday to make the bed and provide fresh towels.
The hotel has a restaurant and bar but we never used this as there are so many other places to eat nearby.
Overall a wonderful stay and would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone.
First of all I must say that the staff are incredibly friendly, speak good English (as well as several other languages), and are very helpful.
They were happy to recommend restaurants and shops, and tell us information that helped us out.
They were professional and always in a good mood, which is a nice change to a lot of places I have stayed.
Next thing I must say is about the cleanliness of the hotel, it is second to none. The room are made spotless, the corridors are hoovered daily, the floors are always clean and tidy - they take cleanliness very seriously.
Then there's the hotel itself, it is a very unique hotel, and I mean it in a good sense. I booked this hotel for me and my girlfriend for her birthday as it is perfectly located - the right balance between being close to local attractions and out of the way enough to be reasonably quiet.
Its a mile or so walk to both the Trevi fountain and the Coliseum.
The hotel is very simple, it is designed in a way so that guests can be self sufficient for a lot more things: They have vending machines for things like wine, beer, champagne; they have vending machines for food, snacks, soft drinks; they have vending machines for utilities and toiletries; they have a guest microwave; and they have ice dispensers and hot water dispensers. So you can sort yourself out a snack, or make a pot noodle if you really want, and what's really great is it is much cheaper than any shop nearby!
There's is also a roof terrace which is very nic
This hotel is of a good standard. It's clean and stylish. The staff are helpful. It's very close to Roma Termini and so is convenient. The baths in the rooms are huge. The rooms even have mood lighting.

"Better than all. Situated in the center of Rome."
If you want a fantastic hotel situated near all that IS Rome, this is the place. The staff here is amazing. Vittorio is possibly the best I have ever encountered anywhere in the world at any price. If you want to live in a Fendi, Bev Hills, "I'm an elite VIP fantasy," go elsewhere. If you want the best of Rome come here. Fantastic rooms. Great service. Unbelievable staff.
