"First off, I am an American so I have that point of view. The hotel reminds me of old Hollywood. It is a classic with tons of history that is showing it's age. I liked it a lot, my wife not so much. It was clean and the staff was great. The bed was hard and we never did figure out the AC system. It is in the Muslim district which we hadn't anticipated, but was no problem and everyone treated great. It's noisy outside, but that is living in any city. These are difficult times in Israel and we pray for peace."

"We had a great stay at the Prima Royale. THe staff let us check in early despite a very early arrival. The breakfast buffet is excellent. And the staff could not have been more friendly-- they even opened the rooftop garden for us on an especially balmy day, even though it was closed for the winter. We were within easy walking distance of many important tourist areas, including the Jaffa Gate to the Old City. Excellent value for our trip!"
