"To our surprise Wengen is an extremely busy village. Not the peaceful Village as has been advertised. The accommodations were very good, but be prepared to be very self sufficient. Not what you are used to in a hotel with front desk reception. Reception hours are limited. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Our main concerns were the outdoor deck below the rooms on the back side. This deck converts to pub at 4:00 ish that played very loud music until 10:00. So after a long day in the mountains we came back to our room, only to be greeted by this noise which was VERY disappointing. Also, to our surprise there was 1 kettle down in the ski room in the basement. So morning and evening tea meant running up and down 4 flights of stairs."
