"Basic but very good value, clean and comfortable."
Lovely fluffy towels Glad I booked through Expedia as all the extras were included!!! Didn't matter that no breakfast. Could get coffee and snacks but wonderful cafe just below Hotel -Cafe Cappadocia that did wonderful breakfasts and was a Bistro also for meals. What was amazing was how quiet it was as Greys Inn Road is so busy. Useful bus stop opposite hotel for station and also for 45 to Camberwell!!!Can thoroughly recommend We shall be back !!
I was only in London for a few days, and this was the perfect location! Less than a 10 minute walk to Big Ben and the London Eye. The room was very clean. Like other comments I read, the room was a bit small. But I was still very comfortable in it. I never felt cramped. And it was perfect for me because I only slept there. It really was the perfect place.
Also, the staff were amazing! They were always willing to help when I had questions. I felt like they treated me as a friend, if I had a need, they were willing to help!! This was a great place to stay. I had the most amazing experience!! And as most of you know, a poor hotel experience can ruin a trip. But this hotel and the staff helped make London a dream come true! Thank you, thank you!
Firstly, I was very impressed with the hotel staff, especially Ana who had been very kind and patient. On the morning when we checked in, she did not insist that we settle the balance of the payment for the hotel because she knew that we were exhausted from our journey. Instead, we could do it the following morning. Secondly, the rooms were better than the other 2-star hotels that we've stayed in. The beds and duvet were extremely comfy as they were relatively new beddings. The selection of TV programmes were also enough to keep me and the kids glued to it. One of the main perks was having free WiFi which was fast and accessible. The hotel is just a 5-minute walk to Earls Court station which has 2 main lines - District and Piccadilly - which took us to all the main attractions in London. You could tell it's a fantastic deal when you see people checking in and out all the time, and they are fully booked most of the time. We certainly enjoyed our stay there.
i stayed in this hotel for four nights and it felt like i was not in a hotel but just inside my bedroom. it was cleaned everyday, my towels replaced with fresh ones, bed is over comfy and the pillows as well. i never regretted booking this hotel. my stay here make my london visit more memorable and enjoyable. most of the major tourist spots are just minutes away. surrounding area has bus stop, restaurants, supermarket.
The Dover hotel is located in the heart of Victoria, in central London. It is the perfect base to either visit all the …More
On booking, I was a little weiry from the reviews, but, due to price and location, I went for it. The hotel outside looks shabby, and lobby not refurbished, on check in , I was put in room 510. I found the room large with a lovely new bathroom and modern shower. The room did get very warm. But was great.
I had a nice stay over there. Overall this is a nice hotel but just beware when any of you girls smoking outside the hotel late at night coz there might be passerby that might thing that you are doing 'business' lol. So go with a friend, don't stand outside the hotel alot especially you are a female.
