"The accommodation is very nice, the staff is very attentive and friendly. The onsen is wonderful. I had a room with private hot spring because I didn’t know if I’d have the courage to use the public one, but I ended up using both. The private onsen is much colder and deeper than the public one (I was there in a cold night in April - 1oC). They serve traditional Japanese breakfast."

"No elevator, carrying luggages to 3rd floor with no staff to help was hard. Location is excellent 2 min from Gora station and cable car to major attraction in Hakone is a plus. Any food or bus stops are 12-14 min walk but the only way is through a very hard long stairs."

"Very nice hotel. Location and facilities were tip top. Staff was nice but we had a lot of confusion because we did not speak Japanese. Things like the shuttle bus and baggage delivery service options and the breakfast were hard for novice Americans to navigate. For a Japanese speaker, I think it would be very very nice."
