"Bare bones . The rooms felt cold and not cozy. The exercise room that was described as on site was not. The amenities were minimal. The coffee maker in the room probably cost $15. I Appreciate the cleanliness and the cheerfulness and helpfulness of the staff. Kudos to them!"

"I stayed at this hotel a few months ago and was impressed enough with it as a value for money proposition the first time that I decided to stay again the next time I had cause to be in Ann Arbor. All the things I liked about it the first time I stayed here remain good: it's clean and well-maintained. The staff are pleasant and professional. The location is good, especially if you want someplace to escape the crowds and mayhem of downtown at the end of the day. And the onsite restaurant is excellent--for dinner, but also for breakfast and lunch. The thing I really appreciated this time around is that they seem to have read and responded to the one complaint I voiced after my first stay--that they didn't offer simple drip coffee to guests of the hotel in the morning, something even the most basic motels seem to do as a matter of course these days. This time they did, which I really appreciated. I'm not sure if that was a result of my comment or if it's something they do occasionally, but not consistently, and I just happened to be there on before on days when they didn't. But I really appreciated the added amenity this time around. It made all the difference."

"I enjoyed my stay, the room looked nice and clean. However, I had to ask for my towels to be picked up, my trash thrown out and for my bed to be straightened every day. I asked the front desk person this and this was taken care of. The staff were excelent in helping me and were very professional. A gym is on the first floor but I did not use this. They also have a breakfast area that you pay for which opens at 7:00 AM. The price is $17.99 plus tax making this $19.07 as of May of 26. I went only out to the right and the only restaurant I saw nearby was a Wendy's. Maybe the other way are some others within walking distance."
