On the negative, if you don’t arrive early enough for breakfast, food is not replenished and therefore there is not much variety left. I wished there was a machine to prepare your own coffee and not wait to be served because by the time I had the coffee I had almost finished my breakfast. "

"Guesthouse Arsenis was amazing! I visited during the "off season", but the weather was still beautiful. The location could not have been better. It was a two minute drive into town and amazingly close to the monasteries. The view from my room and the dining area was gorgeous. Checking in was super simple and I had a chance to talk to the owner and his mother (who were both very, very kind!). The house and land have been in their family for generations and they have clearly taken very good care...

"We had a lovely stay. The room was comfortable and clean wiht a view on the Meteora. There is also on the first floor a common area with a few sofas, which is really nice and a common balcony with a view on the mountains. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The area is very quiet."

"I arrived early in the day, the owner was able to store my luggage so I could explore the beautiful Meteora area before checking in later in the day. The room was quite basic but comfortable & had everything I needed including a fridge. The accommodation is in the centre of Kalambaka & easy to find, close to shops & buses."
